I’m Vicky. I’m based in South Gloucestershire and I’ve been a midwife for almost 40 years. I have worked in all areas of midwifery across the NHS, charitable and business sectors.
For the past twenty years, I’ve specialised in postnatal and newborn care; providing meaningful support for new parents, their babies and families during those first precious hours, days and weeks of parenthood.
I still work occasional shifts in the NHS, but want to give parents and their babies the extra time, care and support that they deserve and which I’ve been educated to provide. I’m aware how very challenging it can be to find accessible and consistent support in a way that puts you at the very centre of your care.

I can be your Independent Postnatal Support Midwife.
The support that I offer is bespoke and aimed at supplementing the postnatal care that you receive from your own Community Midwife - bridging the gap between NHS and private postnatal care.
I offer services at a time that fits around your needs including twilight, weekend and night-time availability. Depending on your location, this can be within your own home or via Zoom or Email Consultations.
I believe that new parents need practical, realistic, expert support. I will offer you plenty of gentle reassurance, endless patience and robust evidence-based information and guidance to help you make decisions that are right for you and your baby.
